Director of Talent Acquisition
Type: Full-time
Location: Hybrid & Tigard, Or
Candidate must be in the Portland Oregon Metropolitan area
The Director of Talent Acquisition is responsible for developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to assure quality candidates to fill open positions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure recruitment department alignment with overall company strategy. Actively participate in various corporate meetings (Monthly Leadership meeting, annual Strategic Planning meeting) to collaborate for the purposes of identifying, analyzing and developing effective strategies to recruit and retain a highly qualified and motivated workforce.
- Execute effective local, regional and national sourcing strategies to assure the generation of a diverse pool of qualified prospects and candidates to provide a qualified applicant flow to fill open positions. Create and sustain effective methods and processes to identify the most qualified candidates.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate company wide cost-effective recruiting methods both internally and externally using such resources as; resumes searches, mailings, cold calling, job fairs, college recruiting, networking, social media, student clinical rotations and employee referrals.
- Ensure recruiting practices are compliant with organizational policies, federal, state and other regulatory requirements.
- Develop and monitor appropriate metrics and tracking mechanisms to measure results, impact, and cost effectiveness of all programs Ensure timely metrics, status reporting, and analysis to organization's leadership that reflects recruitment and staffing performance in direct alignment with strategic workforce goals. Reports include but are not limited to: Cost Per Hire Report, Recruiter New Hire Report, Time to Fill Report, Open Positions Ratio Report, Career Fair Cost Report, Employee Referral Bonus Report, Recruitment Student Clinical Rotations Report and other reports as needed.
- Develop and manage all job postings, marketing materials, social media with the help from the marketing department so that AHS company brand is represented properly.
- Negotiate and manage all vendor contracts and services for the Recruitment Department; Immigration Attorney, Agency, Job Postings Sites/Resume Databases, Search firms, Consultants, Websites, etc. Responsible for having all contracts reviewed prior from internal legal department and signed by President.
- Develop, update and maintain the Recruiter Database/ATS.
- Manage m6onthly and yearly budget goals. Prepare yearly budget. Review and process all invoices and other related expenses for the Recruitment Department. Responsible for the development, scheduling, cost and attendance of trade shows, career fairs, education seminars, industry association conferences, career fairs and recruitment dinners.
- Responsible for processing and maintaining all immigration paperwork for foreign candidates to include but not limited to; H1B Visas, E3 Visas, TN Visas, EB2 and EB3 Green Cards.
- Hire, train, develop and retain Recruitment Department employees through coaching and creating an environment of high morale, motivation and teamwork. Maintain sound employee relations through the use of conflict resolution, management, mentoring and leadership skills.
- Assist Recruiters in full-cycle recruitment; conduct interviews, contact references, evaluate, and hire qualified applicants for successful placement of rehab personnel and other corporate personnel. Work closely with our Human Resources Department, Payroll Department and Benefit/401K Administrator when offering positions.
- Assist Recruiters with negotiations, start date, employment offers, sign on bonuses and/or relocation with management approval.
- Keep managers informed regarding labor trends and potential impact on recruitment and retention. Update recruiting knowledge by participating in local healthcare recruitment association, recruitment education conferences, reading professional publications, maintaining professional networks and other professional organizations.
- Participate in the orientation and training for new corporate personnel.
- Update and maintain all recruitment training material, Recruitment Training Manual and job descriptions. Assist with the development and implementation of new recruitment procedures, policies, processes and strategies, with collaboration of other departments Directors.
- Manage all recruiting processes. Maintain accurate records of recruitment needs, deadlines for hiring, lead time required for successful hiring, and recruitment challenges specific to location and season. Document the recruitment strategies used and track trends to determine future recruitment needs and costs.
- Network, establish and maintain relationships within the health care industry. You’ll be expected to have a strong understanding of our industry in order to recruit and represent Avamere Health Services effectively.
- Responsible for completing projects on a monthly/yearly basis in Focus and Execute.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Business, Human Resources or a related field or equivalent
- Verifiable experience in recruitment and retention in healthcare industry positions including development of resources, cold calling, candidate screening, interviewing, negotiating offers, outreach recruiting.
- Successful experience in management and supervision of recruitment department personnel
- Demonstrated excellent negotiating, organization and sales skills
- The ability to work successfully as part of a team
