Business Analytics Intern

We are looking for a Business Analytics Intern or Part Time Employee at our Company in Marietta, GA. We will offer flexible hours to be compatible with school schedules, and this is a position with full time career potential.

Belt Power LLC is a full service distributor and fabricator specializing in the fulfillment of conveyor system requirements for the processing, manufacturing, and material handling industry. We place an emphasis on providing quality, value added components; as well as local service capabilities to support our customers’ needs. Our product line ranges from all types of conveyor belting, conveying equipment and components, belting accessories, hose and fitting products, plastics, gasket, and power transmission products.

Job Summary:

The Business Analytics Intern at Belt Power, LLC, will be responsible for analyzing data, identifying business trends, and providing insights to help the company make informed decisions.

Responsibilities Include:

• Work with members of the Data Analytics team to develop and enhance reports to monitor business performance and track Key Performance Indicators (“KPIs”) across the Company.
• Engage cross-functional stakeholders to understand user requirements and ensure data accuracy and availability.
• Perform analysis and validation of large data sets.
• Organize and structure data across multiple sources for incorporation into data warehouse used to drive business reporting tools.
• Support budget, forecasting, and financial activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Working toward or has a degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Data management and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient level with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Experience with data visualization tools (such as Power BI) and SQL are not required but highly preferred.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds and will require manual dexterity and strength in arms.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Pay Range: $15.00 an hour
