Deer Valley Resort is nestled in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, in the historic mining town of Park City which has evolved into an exciting and diverse mountain ski town. PURPOSE OF POSITION: Provide a safe, positive, organized and monitored inside environment for children participating in Ski School ski programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate Early Drop-off by signing in and monitoring children
• Attend to children's personal needs
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized environment
• Assist with preparing for lunch and hot cocoa for multiple groups and all duties involved in cleaning up afterward
• Assist Supervisors with various indoor tasks, such as, set up, cleaning, dressing children, etc.
• Attend daily morning meeting
• Sign in, monitor and assist special needs children
• Opening and closing duties
• Working in a Food Handling environment
• Supervise and engage with children in your care including all duties that come with childcare
• Other duties as assigned
• Exemplify a strong work ethic and be a Deer Valley team player who acts professionally

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Previous work experience with children in a child care environment is helpful
• Attention to detail is a must. Able to write detailed documentation for parents of special circumstances that occur
• Patient; have ability to remain calm and positive during stressful times; enjoy working with children eight hours a day
• Able to lift at least 40 lbs, stand for long periods of time and withstand frequent up-and-down/ twisting/repetitive movements

PAY RATE:

• Pay: $20.00 per hour
