We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Entry Level Events Assistant. In this role, you will provide valuable support to our events team in planning and executing a wide range of corporate events. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in event management and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Pay range:
$21.50 - $31.50 hourly

Job: Full time

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating all aspects of events, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual equipment, and decorations
• Manage event logistics, such as attendee registration, guest lists, and transportation arrangements
• Assist with event marketing efforts, including creating and distributing promotional materials
• Assist in managing event budgets and tracking expenses
• Support the events team in the setup and teardown of event spaces
• Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of event materials and services
• Help manage event-related correspondence and inquiries

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Bachelor's degree in event management, marketing, or a related field
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and event planning software
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
