Job Description
A large software and gaming company is looking for a Techncial Email Marketing Operations Specialist to join the growth marketing operations team. This person will be the cornerstone of technical proficiency within the team, ensuring that all marketing technology platforms are optimized and fully utilized. This person will act as a critical bridge between the technical operations and broader team leads, providing clarity on the technical dimensions of marketing campaigns to enhance decision-making and operational execution. The ideal candidate is passionate about process, documentation, workflow improvements, marketing tech and operational efficiencies. This candidate can support the various initiatives happening at once.
This person will:
Become a subject matter expert for tools and technologies across Growth Marketing Operations team including multiple message surfaces & proprietary tools. Ensure all email marketing platforms are fully leveraged to their maximum potential
Monitor and ensure all technical aspects of marketing campaigns are executed properly & efficiently. Conduct regular system checks and optimizations to ensure all operations meet the required standards.
Act as the primary problem solver & escalation point for complex and urgent technical issues, assessing necessary efforts and trade-offs, and formulating actionable plans for the operator team.
Serve as liaison between operator team and Operations lead to ensure clear communication and understanding of scope, capacity & resourcing needs.
With your knowledge and technical expertise in the tools, propose and implement process/ feature optimizations, translate technical specs into easy and understandable operator-facing manuals & process documentation
Have a deep understanding of privacy & legal requirements to ensure our campaigns remain compliant.

Required Skills & Experience 5-7 years managing cross-channel lifecycle campaigns
Advanced experience with email marketing, campaign setup, audience segmentation using "if/else" statement clauses, email deployment, HTML editing, delivery monitoring and reporting.
Expertise and Ability to QA and troubleshoot issues that arise
Experience in marketing automation tools, like Braze, Adobe, etc. (understanding of Liquid Logic)
Expert problem-solver with the ability to serve as an escalation point and knowledgeable resource.
Passionate about process improvements & able to clearly communicate complex subject matter.
Foundational understanding of customer privacy and permissions regulations (e.g. CCPA, GDPR, COPPA)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience A passion for games and/or 3D software and technology
