Position Purpose: 

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sr. Director Talent Acquisition to lead our talent acquisition team as well as the Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) function and drive our recruitment strategy. The Sr. Director Talent Acquisition will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring the acquisition of top talent, and building a strong talent pipeline to support the company's growth objectives. They will collaborate with senior leadership to understand business needs and develop effective recruitment strategies to meet those needs. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills and a deep understanding of talent acquisition best practices.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Manage all external vendors including the RPO provider. Review, establish, monitor the service level agreements (SLA) to ensure performance targets are continuously met.
  • As a system thinker, evaluate and streamline the recruitment process for all levels to ensure continuous improvement, enhanced efficiency, performance and candidate experience.
  • Build and track TA Metrics Dashboard including but not limited to recruitment funnel, hiring velocity, hiring manager and candidate experience, market data, sourcing tools and strategies, external candidate pipeline and networks, offer acceptance rate, recruitment spend etc.
  • Partner with senior leaders and hiring managers to understand their talent needs and provide strategic guidance on sourcing, selection and interviewing methods and strategies.
  • Lead and mentor a team of talent acquisition professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their continuous growth and development.
  • Stay updated on the latest recruitment trends, tools, and technologies, and implement best practices to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the talent acquisition process.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that values diversity, innovation, and continuous improvement (growth-mindset) and monitor and evaluate team performance, providing regular feedback.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires and manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Actively participate in job fairs, career events, and other recruitment-related activities to promote the company's employer brand and attract potential candidates and represent the organization at industry conferences and networking events to establish connections and expand the talent pool.

Qualifications

Education/Experience/Background:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or other applicable field.
  • 10-12 years of corporate recruiting experience and minimum 5 years managing a team.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience managing RPO vendors with a strong track record of high-performance results.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end recruitment process, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing RPO vendors from initiation to completion.
  • Must have proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Director/Sr Dir, leading a large and widely distributed Talent Acquisition Team (including people managers- not limited to IC level Recruiters) in a fast-paced and dynamic organization.
  • Strong knowledge of talent acquisition best practices, recruitment strategies, and sourcing techniques.
  • Excellent understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle and experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and external partners.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve targets and deliver high-quality results.
  • Proficient in using recruitment tools and applicant tracking systems (ATS) to streamline processes and enhance candidate experience.
  • Results-driven mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance in all recruitment activities.
