Job Title: Tea and Coffee Barista

We’re looking for a Tea and Coffee Barista with a passion for beverages and customer service, who can expertly prepare and serve drinks to bring our menu to life.

Job Summary:
The Tea and Coffee Barista is responsible for crafting a wide variety of tea and coffee-based drinks, including Pure Teas, Classic and Premium Milk Teas, Milkshakes, Mochas, and Lattes. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about tea and coffee preparation, work efficiently, and deliver excellent customer service. This role involves preparing beverages according to recipes, assisting customers with drink choices, and ensuring a high standard of quality and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of teas, milk teas, lattes, milkshakes, and other specialty drinks as listed on our menu.
• Educate customers on different tea and coffee options, including drink customizations and topping choices.
• Handle modifications and toppings such as cheese foam, agar boba, and other add-ons to meet customer preferences.
• Operate and maintain brewing and blending equipment, ensuring cleanliness and efficiency in preparation.
• Ensure consistent drink quality by following recipes for sweetness levels, sizes, and customization options.
• Assist customers with menu recommendations, providing information on drink profiles like Assam Black Tea, Matcha Lattes, and Thai Milkshakes.
• Monitor and manage inventory of ingredients, notifying management of stock needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring a smooth experience for every customer.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a barista or in a similar beverage-focused role is preferred.
• Passionate about tea and coffee with a strong willingness to learn and explore different types.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of tea and coffee brewing methods, especially for drinks like oolong teas, matcha lattes, and milk-based tea beverages.
• Familiarity with various toppings and customization options, including cheese foam and agar boba.
• Basic understanding of food safety practices and hygiene.
