Summary Jewelers Mutual's UX Internship is designed to provide interns a challenging and rewarding experience to acquire hands-on experience across a variety of marketing areas. The program is ideal for students with a User Experience related major looking to grow their experience with marketing strategies, technology, and processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. - User Research:
- Assist in conducting user interviews, surveys, and usability tests.
- Analyze user data to identify trends, pain points, and areas for improvement.
- Participate in competitor analysis and benchmarking.
- Wireframing and Prototyping:
- Develop wireframes, mockups, and low-fidelity prototypes to visualize design concepts.
- Collaborate with UX designers to refine and iterate on designs based on feedback and usability findings.
- Design and User Experience:
- Support the design of intuitive and user-friendly interfaces utilizing the design system.
- Help maintain and update design systems and style guides.
- Ensure consistency in the user experience across different platforms and devices.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other designers, to implement design solutions.
- Participate in team brainstorming sessions and design critiques.
- Documentation and Presentation:
- Document design processes, decisions, and user research findings.
- Prepare presentations to communicate design concepts and research insights to stakeholders.
- Learning and Development:
- Stay updated on UX trends, tools, and best practices.
- Participate in ongoing learning opportunities, such as workshops, webinars, and design meetups.

Qualifications - Must be enrolled in an accredited college of business undergraduate program in Marketing, Business or Communications.
- Must be able to work full-time, on-site in Dallas, TX or Neenah, WI during the summer and potential opportunity to extend internship to work part-time during the school year.
- Must have strong attention to detail.
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Search Engine Optimization, SEMRush, Google Analytics, or Social Media familiarity is helpful, but not required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Physical Requirements - Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls; and talk or hear.
